Keynote Speaker: Mike Gallagher, Managing Director, Macroeconomics and Strategy, Continuum Economics, UK

Understanding the Macroeconomic Outlook remains a critical issue for businesses as thoughts turn towards 2019, after rising US interest rates and a more robust US trade policy have created further uncertainties in 2018. This Keynote Address will focus on the prospects for US trade policy into 2019 and the response from key European and Global partners. Additionally, insight will be provided into the effects of the persistent rise in US interest rates on the US, European and Global economies. Finally, the Address will look at the complex Brexit process and what it means in the medium-term for the economies of Europe and the Rest of the World.
