Baltimore, MD, March 17, 2011 – A distinguished group of international credit professionals and industry experts will lead the program at ICTF’s highly anticipated 2011 Global Credit Professionals Symposium, held April 17-19, 2011 at the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park Hotel.
ICTF’s symposium, with the theme of "Global Credit Management Excellence, Expert Perspectives and Best Practices”, will feature keynote speaker Daniel Griswold, Director of the Center for Trade Policy Studies at the CATO Institute and author of Mad About Trade: Why Main Street America Should Embrace Globalization, whose presentation will open a dialogue about the implications of free trade and the impact of globalization on the U.S. economy.
Integrated Credit Portfolio Management, Lean Six Sigma and Process Improvement Initiatives for the Global Credit Function, Global Receivables Management Best Practices Forum, ICTF’s Global Credit and Risk Worldwide Tour led by Dr. Hans Belcsak, with a focus on The Middle East, Doing Business in the BRIC Countries, Key Performance Indicators, Dashboard and Reporting, Trends in the Order-to-Cash Cycle, Credit Scoring Models, and Technology Solutions for the Credit and Collection Function, are some of the highlights of the ICTF symposium. Wayne Super, Senior Director and Worldwide Chief Risk Officer of Cisco Capital Corporation, will engage participants in an interactive discussion of the benefits and unique integrated risk management approaches that earned Cisco Treasury & Capital the 2010 Alexander Hamilton Gold Medal for Credit and Portfolio Management. Additionally, Steve Martinson, Global Credit Manager of H.B. Fuller and Larry Marchman, Global Credit Director of W.R. Grace will share their successes and global A/R management strategies, including the use of the Lean Six Sigma Kaizen method, to improve processes and create efficiencies.
